Yes, thanks, I've looked at that and it being considered.  After reading your install instructions for this fuel pump, something came to mind.  I'm now wondering if I may have a blockage somewhere between the tank and the pump.  When removing the inlet line from the tank to the fuel pump, no gas came out, or just a little.  Should gas freely flow out from the tank?  It would be some stretch of a coincidence to have a fuel line blockage from the tank to the engine bay occur at the same time that I decided to shorten the hose length from that tank line to the fuel pump. 

Where is the in-tank filter or screen in a 1971 Javelin/AMX?
