You could get a rebuild kit from Then and Now.

I stepped up to the plate and purchased the RobbMc Performance AMC 550HP Fuel Pump. Applications are 290-401. Also got the option that places an additional outlet on the side of the pump. Having the choice of two outlet positions can make it easier to run fuel lines to the pump.  A wee bit pricey at $189 and $24 for the dual outlet option. The pump can be upgraded to support 1100 HP.

Carter is just about the only new pump out there.

Good day all,

Busy with my first pony restoration, got a '74 Javelin 401 that destroyed it's fuel pump. Ouch
Is there a recommended replacement I should be looking for?
I find the Carter M6505 when searching online (I assume this is the OEM replacement?)
