I believe this shroud is off a 1969 Ambassador. The radiator is my original 1967 unit. The shroud lines up with the mounting holes, but it looks to me like it should be for a little bit shorter radiator. Does this look right? The ID is about 20 inches horizontal and 19 inches vertical. When the seven-blade flex fan is placed inside it, there's not much clearance top and bottom. Edited by 67 Marlin - Dec/07/2018 at 6:39am |

I would try it in the car and see if the fan is in the middle of the shroud. You don't want too much room around the fan or air will spill over the ends of the blades rather than being pulled through the radiator.

Excellent. Thank you, sir.
Now that I know the shroud works for the radiator, I'll do that when the motor goes back in the spring.

Sorry. The word "Fitment" just drives me up the wall.
I know, I know....out come the grumpy grammar Nazis. |

That's funny. Didn't even know I wrote fitment! It's not a word I've ever said, so why the schnell am I writing it? Also, I read "Fit" to be your grammatically incorrect caveman way of saying "The shroud fits the radiator." Good thing it turns out it actually does
