Of all the wee bits you come up with time to time through the years, I wonder if you have a wee army of AMC elves in your garage.
Not familiar with the casting number, but it may be a late 69 or early 70 production. Unless because of NASCAR mandating no bigger than 366cui, they may have tried some lower range torque heads for road coarse tests. Donno just seems like an odd duck, especially not having any known history. Wonder what the flow is on them. Probably would be great heads for a turbo 304 if left in current valve arrangement. |

It would make sense that AMC would take a look at lots of different port arrangements and designs,
including swirl port technology. Look at what other manufacturers did to try to improve low RPM torque in their smaller V8's, like the swirl port 318's, and the (horrible) siamesed intake ports on a Pontiac 301. ^even a Turbo couldn't fix that one
