what size jets are you running in your carbs i have a 79 258 are you just running the stocks jets for the 304 or maybe getting some smaller or larger thanks

I have #47 jets ,Stock for a 76 304, on my modified 77 258. runs well. gz

Can't remember who exactly bought my 71 304 2100, could have been wagonmaster? He did such a thing for his daughters car. Didn't say if he did any jetting, off hand. Only stated he completed the rebuild and it runs like a champ.

what are you using for a choke ? my 258 has a electric one would like to stay with that
