I will have some numbers on a set of NHRA Edelbrock heads with a 2.100 intake valve in a week or so

Yeah that's a little more that what I have in mind Thanks for the specs, my build will be a walk in the park compared to that. Can't wait to see it in action

Great explanation John, thank you. I've wanted Indy's for this build, but maybe I should re-think it. NA Street-strip car, something fun that's not afraid of RPM's, maybe with the UR-18, or HLR intake on it just for fun. Not looking for a .630 cam or an E85 build tho. |

In 2000, I bought what was said to be the first Indy heads in Texas. Back then, I was part of a group who had petitioned Edelbrock, with a "no thanks", reply. So yes, I bought while I could, and don't regret it. My 401 is 10.5:1, a solid lifter Crower,1 3/4" Hookers, an 830 dp Holley on an AirGap. Real dyno figures of 446 hp and 486 lb.ft on 93 octane. 12.70s at 110 on 235/60s true street tires. Richmond six speed and 2.73s. Yes, 110 mph in third gear. Runs great at 80 on the highway. Hope this helps.
