I'm still fighting this accelerator cable and bracket thing here I tried the later 68-69 cable and it wouldn't work I tried to use the original 6-cylinder cable couldn't get that to work so now I guess I'm going to have to get the lokar set up what I see here is the lokar srk 4000 carburetor bracket and Springs and the lokar tc1000 inch cable is anybody useing these and are they the right parts. I need this for my 65 Rambler Wagon with a 304 V8 and an Edelbrock 4-barrel

on my 65 with the a 69 290 I used a ford gas peddle from a 80's car with the ford cable on the 69 amc bracket the fire wall is flat in that area on the rambler so the peddle screwed in place with no modification and no return spring is needed because the ford cable has one on it if that give you a idea on what can be used

The Lokar cables are pretty versatile. I have one on my 70 AMX, but I fabricated my own bracket at the throttle body. The bracket supplied would have probably worked for most, but I have a big drop on the air cleaner base that I had to stay below. |

I am using the billet combo bracket for the cable and kick down. Bolts to the back of edelbrock carbs......nice piece and works better than factory linkage

Ed, I used a bracket, cable and pedal assembly from a mid-70's Matador on a '67 American once and it fit easily. 360 with a factory cast iron manifold and an Edelbrock 9635.

There's some realism behind the phrase All Makes Combined. Even when it comes down to one AMC vs another. |

Sorry to bump an old thread. Which Lokar throttle cable worked? 24”. I think I can make the carb side work but not sure if it will attach to my stock 69 accelerator pedal. Thanks for the help
