Burned in the repair piece this eve. Next we'll move on to the front underside behind the rocker.

Thanks! I taped the quarter on and bolted the rear valance on to make sure all three pieces will line up properly. There's still some cleanup to do on the backside of those parts but it shouldn't take much.

Seems pretty solid still under here. Some cleanup and it should be good to go.

Kind of odd how AMC overlapped their panels the way they did.

Got a bit done on the quarter brace. The bottom was rotted so I repaired it.

Next I'll (finally) start fitting the quarter itself.

Knew this panel wasn't virgin, that's okay. As long as it's solid. Managed to cut my hand on this.

More fitting, soon it'll be time to stick it in place.

The best advice that I got when I put new quarters on my car was to take your time and make sure that you put props at the rear to hold everything straight and in alignment. Looking good by the way!

Thanks, it definitely requires patience and thought.

Got it trimmed down today and blew some paint on the backsides of parts that will be joined. Also drilled holes for my plug welds.

Should have the panel hung this week.

Thanks! Got it tacked in this eve. We're past the point of no return.
