I got 70's from the local autozone for about 18$ each and drilled the hole with a masonry bit. (regular bit won't cut these) worked great for me.

Would make sense just drilling an extra hole. Mfg would sell more too. Oh well. Had my friend's shop drill them for me today (has a drill press). Some thick metal and saved me allot of cussing and drill bits. Installing a members coil over kit now.

It would be good if they could start making them for both applications no that the earlier ones are no longer readily available.

I did that too, '70 joints in the '69 control arm.

Thanks Western Red. Looks like one hole in each new ball joint bracket. I'll have local machine shop drill them for me. Now just got to find those ball joints!

You need to drill on hole, be prepared for some hard steel though:

Can't find 69 ball joints. I know you can use the 70+ ones but forgot what it entails to swap. Re-drilling holes? Any help appreciated. Re-doing front end and have some 70 ball joints, though if a big deal will just keep the ones on it that aren't that bad. Would like to have new ones though.
