How did the mounting with the Summit kit go? Work out OK? Got pics?

I've got some louvers coming that I'm going to attempt to mount. Doing the research now :)

It didn't go, the kit I bought through Summit and is manufactured by Southco has a smaller receptacle than the pins that are on the louvers.

I'm still looking.......

There's gotta be a company that makes the correct size receptacle, I only need two....

I got real busy this summer and put it on the back burner

Solution found on, of all places, Ebay....

I purchased a bag of ten Southco made Large Size Dzus 1/4 turn clip-on steel receptacles from a seller on Ebay.  So if anyone needs a couple let me know. They are corrosion protected.

Southco's part number is 85-47-101-15

Not the number in a previous post. The above number is for the part that fits.

Here's the link to the item.

The receptacle fits the pin on the Sport Shade Louver. The receptacle looks like this. I had to squeeze it a little to get the pin to go in but it works. Now if we get a warm day this fall on they go!

Update on this thread.

Ever since I found the correct receptacle, we've been getting almost all cold weather.

had a couple days of real nice weather but I couldn't get the louvers on cuz I had other things going.

Hope it's going to warm up and stop raining soon.

I have test fit the louvers and hinge kit I found, have not installed the louvers yet, still debating whether I should remove and reattach the rear window glass before the louvers. The rear window has been in the since Dec 1969.

The louvers that I found will fit your Javelin, and should help with the heat in Arkansas.
I don't know if louvers were made that fit the Rebel. You could make your own as well.
