That's a beautiful wheel. I just can't get used to a wheel that size. Sure looks good, though. |

Oh I get it! It's weird driving such a skinny wheel that is so big! This is the 3 spoke I used before I finally found a rimblow. It was much more comfortable but IMO didn't look near as cool! lol |

Id like to buy that 3 spoke wheel. For my 73 Hornet hatchback.
I'm not a "big guy". 5 1/2 feet tall, 150 lbs with a wet coat on. But in my 64 Classic, my legs barely slide under the wheel to get in. I love the look of giant factory steering wheel. I love that my knuckles drag on both doors when turning. Old 60's cars is all I ever used to drive. Went through a 10 spell without them. After driving these newer cars with superpower steering and tiny wheels, it's something to get used to again. Big steering wheels and no power steering never bothered me before, but since I didn't have anything else to compare, my ignorance was bliss. |

CamJam took a well worn wheel and customised it. You can see what he did in his thread. http://theamcforum.com/forum/my-new-to-me-72-javelin-sst_topic87733_page6.html?KW=Steering+wheel |

The problem with that is that I don't have a well worn, slightly worn or hardly worn wheel to start with. Thanks for posting his thread. It turned out really well, now I'll just have to find a wheel to try my hand at it
