It has a been a few months since I have gotten my front suspension kit installed. I definitely think it was a worthwhile upgrade along with QA1 shocks for the rear and a 14:1 Delphi 670 steering box. The next step looks to be better brakes and tires... |

Thanks for the positive feedback. Just a note that I've run out of 1970 and Later Steering Knuckles. If anyone has any laying around I'll take 'em. I could have custom knuckles machined, but that would be a bit more expensive than anyone would want to spend.

Could you perhaps make use of these as replacement knuckles? |

Well, yes and no. I unfortunately have a perpetual waiting list, so while I do have arms made up I move down my list in the order of requests. If you do need a set within a build schedule I will do what I can, shoot me an email at dairylandfab@tds.net Thanks for your interest. |

Update on the Steering Knuckle availability. First, I need to thank akimmet for those links he posted! I contacted Argo Manufacturing and they are sending me one of their steering knuckles to Compare to a stock AMC unit. If the Argo Mfg steering knuckle will work there will be no more need to search junk yards to locate used parts! As a side bit of information, Dirt Modified racers use these steering knuckles which is why Argo Mfg. is building new versions of these using 4130 Alloy. Argo Mfg. also claim the new knuckles are lighter and stronger than the originals. Stay tuned!
