Correct, easiest way to tell a '77 Gremlin from a '78.

Body styling changed for '77, but dash remained the same. In '78 the dash was updated to the new Concord style.

How did your dash swap go. I thought that the 1977 Gremlin had the different dash set up. Like the spirits, concord, eagle dashes. I've looked at them and they do look to be a easy change. I do like the look of both.

Not a bit of trouble. Just got the gremlin dash out in about an hour. Easy cars to work on.

The dashes are the same,  except the Gremlin used a 2 gauge cluster,  and the Hornet had 3 gauges.

Hard to remove compared with what?
Removing the dash in any car is a pita,  just some are harder than others.

Will it be much trouble to swap out the entire dash on a 73 hornet with a 77 gremlin . I already have the steering column out. ?????? The dashes look  the same.
