Hello folks, I pulled this off a '77 Hornet AMX a year ago and lost the diagram. Can't find any info on where the lines route into. Going on a '75 Gremlin.

Using your picture. In from the MC on the top, out to the wheels on the bottom. In your picture the right side is for the rear and the left side is for the front. Keep in mind the passenger side front is the only part of the front circuit that passes through this valve, You split off the drivers side front right near the MC before you come across the firewall to this valve.

This is the best picture I could find on short notice.

Thank you, thank you very much for the pics and info! Getting this done will lead to dropping the engine in.

you really should get a copy of the factory Technical Service Manual. utterly unlike Haynes all all those crap books. you won't believe how useful and interesting they are. i can't imagine working on my ramblers without them. they're incredible resources. pics, tables, procedures, specs. all of this is in there, including how to reset the little tell in it, etc. color codes. invaluable. best money you;'ll spend on the car. get an original if possible, even greasy pages. the photos are worth it.

You're right, I need to fatten up my library with some more TSMs. I have 69, 70, 71. Need to get one for mid-late 70's.

BTW: This isn't the proportioning valve, it's the pressure differential switch.

I'm not missing anything am I? Willing to bet the house that the set up on the Hornet didn't haven the separate valve located near the rear end as did earlier AMCs.

The picture above is not so clear to tell but "generally" disk brake AMC's before 71 had a separate differential & proportioning valves and after 71 had a combination valve (differential & proportioning) located up front on the passenger side.
Above looks like just a differential pressure valve pre 71 disk & drum brake and post 71 drum brake.
That stated parts were used up and even into 72 and there may have been separate valves on some models. Parts book is very confusing on this as they name them proportioning valves, combination valves and differential pressure valves.
Take a look at images of a 79 Spirit or 71 Javelin proportioning valve and you will see they are very different then the 69 Javelin's as they are two different beasts.

only some models have a proportioning valve, in the rear brake line. it's somewhere in the back, under drivers side rear quarter area.

if you're plumbing from scratch, you dont really need the differential switch. it tips a switch that turns on the dash light when one circuit loses pressure. if you're not plumbed for one now you can skip it. i don't recall if '75 has one.

maybe more about what it is youre' doing?
