Was not sure where to post this so here goes. Had my wheel done and wanted your input on the finished product. The woodgrain was in question in the beginning phase, but never have seen a new one. So we decided on what is there on the wheel, supplied him with an NOS rim blow switch which is installed. He is now reproducing them for the AMC crowd, and they fit perfectly, he was happy to get an original to make it correct. I personally like the way it came out, I guess that is all that matters, LOL but still wanted some input. Woodgrainwheels.com did the work. Communication was fantastic to say the least, that was a very nice change in this world. Anyway here are a few home movies for you, would like to hear what you think.
Thanks Rod |

Looks nice! They also did not put too much shine on the plastic, so it looks right too. Nice!
Chris PS: Here is an NOS one, looks pretty close to me! Edited by ccowx - Mar/26/2016 at 11:41am |

Looks great. Am in the process of resting one of my 70 AMX's and will need to get the wheel done. What did he charge and what is the warranty?

He is a great guy folks, for prices and info you can call him or look on his web site. Woodgrainwheels.com or talk with him-Dave Tays 1-812-593-4328. As per the comment on which car, it is going on my 70 AMX, just so happen I had a Javelin center piece for him to redo before I pulled my wheel out of the AMX.
Good luck Rod |
