 Save the dates. Finally, historic Trans-Am racing returns to the east coast on Sep. 1-5 2016 at Lime Rock and Sep. 8-11 at Watkins Glen as part of their 50th anniversary tour.

All right guys the Lime Rock race is their historics weekend . Friday, Saturday, and Monday are race days. Sunday is the Conquors and Gathering of the Marques car show , Last year we had 5 AMC cars in the Conquors and another 4 in the AMC section of the Gathering of the Marques. I will post more info on the show soon ! Saw the Trans Am cars there in 2005 and 2013 at it is real door to door racing Mark Donahue's 71 Javelin kicked rump all weekend !!

Its an blood curdling sound to hear them come out of turn two and up the hill to the straight on full song at The Glen. Was there in 2014 when about 26 of the trans am cars were there, including the Javelin. Hair on my neck still stands up thinking about it. If you are thinking of going, the Friday downtown is a true bucket list event. Even the wife loves that one. Peter

This group, IIRC, does a circuit around the US.
They always come to Coronado, California every Sept. for Speedfest Week and it's a lot of fun. http://www.fleetweeksandiego.org/events/fleet-week-coronado-speed-festival/ from last year's event.
