Edit, here's the real story, according to Wiki-pedia:
Because of a directive by the  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC - BBC that songs not include  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brand - brand names in their  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyrics - lyrics, a UK re-recorded version of "Beep Beep" was recorded for the  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe - European market replacing the  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cadillac - Cadillac and  https://en.wikipedia.org/wikiash_Rambler - Nash Rambler with the generic terms the  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limousine - Limousine and  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubble_car - Bubble car.
This is priceless...thanks for sharing!

I can remember when the song first came out in 58,   and my mom not getting the joke.

She complained no car could go over 100 mph in second gear, she failed to see the humor.
