An event for us that has been growing, AMC had a great spot last year to the right of the grandstand. Chrysler Nationals continues to be one of the best shows at Carlisle and I look forward to it every year. One of the event coordinators has a Rambler he displays also. So give it some thought, share your car, share your story behind the car and have a good time.

I will be there on the 10th looking for parts for my 1973 Javelin.  7-15-1995  was the hottest day I can remember and I was at Chrysler's.  It was 105 degrees. People had thermometers sitting from two to four feet above the ground, showing temps from 110 to 125.

I do love me some Mopar. Growing up I never heard of AMC. When I started noticing cars it was the Eagle I fell for. Muscle cars on my list were El Camino or Coke bottle Charger. I work at a Ford dealership on the Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg so it's fun seeing all the cars pulling into the local hotels.

I just got back from Carlisle.  Too many Chrysler's and not enough AMC's.  I guess that is why it is called "Chrysler's" at Carlisle.Smile I did not find any of the Javelin parts I was looking for.  I did pick up some small tools.  The wife went with me and we had a good time.

Had a great time in Carlisle. Only a few AMCs, couple AMX, a Javelin and a Rambler but they looked good. A 1970 AMX and 1973 Javelin were sold there too.

Small showing for AMC, especially with the other 2 events today, but it was fun and cool to see.

Carlisle was a good Mopar event. Almost no AMC parts, a few Nash parts and several AMC cars for sale. I was there on Friday and there were seven AMC cars on the show field. Everyone was looking g-o-o-d!
I was surprised at the number of modern muscle cars in attendance. There were more 2008-2015 in any class at the event. It would appear modern muscle is taking over! Not a bad thing, just not my cup of tea!
