Ken,
The 66 4door 4 speed car is my old car. I sold it before moving back west.
The early 67 could be one of the 7 1967 convertibles manufactured in July of 1966 and could have used the 1966 convert unibody.
I now have a break down of how many Rogue Converts and hard tops were built each month. 75% of the rogues were built prior to Jan of 67. It looks like AMC decided to limit production during the second 1/2 of the production year like they did for the Marlin.

I got a call on Friday from a local (30 miles away), from gentlemen (older by phone voice), that he was working on a 1969 Rogue, 343, 4V "stick" car.......He was wanting a fuel pump and the Local NAPA sent him my way, he talked about 5 or six collector cars of Brand X, had me confused what he had, but I asked him fo the VIN to figureit out.  He is supposed to stop by my place next Friday...I'll let you know, this is a one horse town and i have never seen a Rogue here before, and most AMC's that are here I "imported".

If the Rogue hardtop was a 1969 290 4 Speed it was one of 96 built as the rest were SC/Ramblers. In most cases these 290 4 Speed cars cost more than the SC/s. My Brother (Kirk Fletcher) 17TAMX just brought home one of them last weekend. White with Green interior and 4 speed.

So I went by the paint and Body shop today, and the 1967 Rogue 4 Speed convertible looks great!  They will do a little more wet sanding and buffing and then the car will come home for reassembly on Monday.

Here is the Before:

And here is the after:

The body shop has done a great job in leaving all the factory holes so that all the trim will line up and be re-attached.  Still a lot to do, but a great start.  (The tape is the areas they will be touching up).

The car in St Louis was NOT Larry Mitchells old car. It was a 290 2bbl automatic car. It now has a 360 in it. This car was from Memphis. Its been in St Louis for a long time.    Just setting the facts straight.

Purple, Thanks for the update on the Red and Black in St Louis. I have seen it in the photos for years and thought it was the his old one.
