Here are the pictures of my Carter Carb # S 1865 and I want to know if others have the Carter Carb number too.

PlanethoustonAMX website shows the 69 AMX 390 4-speed having the Carter Carb # 4664S so that's why I'm asking.

Thank you advance for reading and responding.

Jeff

You are looking in the wrong place. The Carter ID number is stamped into the front edge of the base just in front of the mounting bolt hole on the passenger side.

The AMC Technical Service Manual chart lists a 1969 AMX 390 manual transmission has a #4664S Carter Carb. And, #4665S for A/T.
Questions are powerful tools...what's in your toolbox?

I'm currently not near any of my books, so while on the subject of Carter Carb's, does anyone know what Carter Carb. #4663S would have come on?

Thanks
