Congrats again Mark! A day you'll never forget for sure. When is the photo shoot at "THE" Mansion? She looks better with the Magnums although those are some nice looking hubcaps. It would be cool to find that beach front parking area & recreate that photo. Probably off PCH? near Venice Beach?

The Nash is the only AMC history related car he owns that I know of. It was great to have it in the background with the PM car.

Already this Leno shoot has started opening doors to other things. I can't say more at the time.

I have not had any communication with Playboy yet, but my contact with Leno knows people, he said he'd snoop around and see what contacts he could create there. It'd be interesting to do a photo shoot at the mansion of course.  Already there are several car magazine photographers asking about the car.

After 42 years of this car being hidden from the public, my goal is to promote the car and expose it to the public (pun intended) often, giving AMC as much recognition as possible, with as much class as I can.

I can say I'm really looking forward to the next Kenosha meet!

Kirk, at the opening of the video segment he quipped, "it takes a real man to drive a pink car!" Jay was very nice to everyone. His reputation precedes him wherever he goes.

Mark,
Congrats, what a great experience. Jay is a great guy and he loves the unusual cars. Did he make fun of you for restoring a Rambler, like he did of me when he taped us for the Hurst Equipped book?
Looking forward to seeing it in person.

This is the photo shoot car that was painted a day before with the peel off paint! Note the dealer plate on the front bumper!

I'm pretty sure this picture was taken at the beach in Playa Del Rey.

I'm looking forward to seeing the real Playboy AMX again this May.

I got word today the video from Jay Leno's Garage is out and people have seen it. I watched it and it turned out really good. I'm glad I wore long pants that day with shots of the whole car and Jay & I standing next to it. My voice didn't sound the best, almost like I was horse or something. Well it can be best said, "It is what it is.."

Here's the video..
