I got the #D103R, 1 3/4". I got the uncoated headers because I knew I was going to be changing the collector flanges to use a conical seal and welding on an O2 sensor provision. I'll have them ceramic coated after I finish welding on them.

Thanks, RD.

I only have the one header in the car right now, but they have 3 3/4" between the pan and header on the left side, and about 2 1/2" on the right side. The bottom of the header tubes sit 1" lower than the bottom of the frame rails. It looks like a 12" sump would be fine with these headers IMO.

Good info.   Thanks for measurements!

You are welcome!
To add to that, last night I reinstalled the pass side header and it sits about 1 3/8" lower than the bottom of the frame rail at it's lowest point.

Those D103 sound like a good option for a lowered car.   For comparison, checked the Hooker 7103 on my '74 Javelin (1 7/8" tubes, 3 1/2" collector) and got 2 3/4" on driver's side and 3 1/4" on passenger's side from frame rail to bottom of collector tube.
Thanks, RD.

THe D103's are 1 3/4  w/3" collectors.  the D104's are 1 7/8 w/ 3 1/2 collectors.  I could see where depending on the trans one would fit better than the other.   I had to "massage" the D103's to fit with a 727.
