It was a 2wd to start with, so I just used a Chevy 44 front. Cool

We picked up this 1976 Jeep J10 pickup truck just over a month ago. Absolutely rust-free (other than surface rust), 258 six, Quadratrack was replaced with standard type transfer case and manual locking front hubs, pretty much dent free too, except for the driver's side front fender. Looks like someone was backing up with the door open and it caught something, resulting in the fender dent (I've done that before!). Another local J10 owner has some 33 inch tires for sale that I might buy and put on (he's moving up to 35s). A slight lift might also be nice!

HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER
It was a beautiful day today (October 31st, 2008) in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area, my arthritis wasn't bugging me today like the last two days, so so I went on a drive to look for vintage tin.

Unfortunately, this photo doesn't convey the vast open land of the high plains.

Classic Razor grille!

Old wind powered stock well. (Don't know why this came out like this as it is showing as being rotated in my photo editor)

I drove along miles and miles of the Canon Blanco Ranch. This longhorn was a bit camera shy!

Well, unfortunately, I didn't find any really old vintage tin, except an Opel GT, a Falcon Econoline window van, and what looked liked the bottom of a vintage auto carrier. Maybe next time!

Here is the '99 Classic we just bought for my wife to drive. It's pretty well loaded including the optional skid plates and tow hooks. My 2000 Cherokee Sport has run perfectly for the 2.5 years I've owned it which is why we decided to get a second XJ. However when we got into the 2000 Jeep to go pick up the new one it wouldn't start! Must have been jealous.

Here's my 401 powered 79 Cj7 in it's first Snow in 7 years. It actually dropped a total of ten inches here in Las Vegas Nevada yesterday. Not my first Jeep but I rebuilt everything on this one (lots of help with the motor from you guys) so I'm pretty proud of it.
