Watch Ebay under Rambler Parts.  Someone is reprinting them for $35-40 bucks

Tanks,so with the 600 on top,10/12 i should be ok as a starting point.....
I finally learn why there's 3 mark on damperLOL.....

If the dist. is stock then you can look up the dist. spec in the TSM to see what total is and when it is all in by.

Carb is runing a little rich for now so i should have a safe margin....
I started at about 10 but ran better like that!!
Ok i know, there no load on itLOL
Don't know total advance but dist is totally stock(down to the point)
so i guess not that much.....
Probably too much initial like you say think i'll start things up at around 12 and be safe for now.....

I think 18 is a little too much I would start at 10 BTDC or at the stock setting and work up from there. The thing with knock is you can’t hear it but it can be there. When you do hear it was there before then doing damage so be careful. What is the total timing and at what RPM is it all in by?

The other thing to keep an eye on is how lean the carb is at speed as this can cause knock too.
