Sorry for the simple question. My 64 American wagon came with Cragar SST on it. I would like to put steel wheels on it(wider than stock). So I need the stock size to figure out the offset.

My '64 Sedan has 14" x 6" on it, so my guess is 14 x 6

14" x 5.5" was standard except for wagons and V8's (not available from the factory prior to 66). 14" x 6" was standard on wagons and V8 cars and optional on the others.

14 x 4.5 inches was the stock size for the sedans.  I think the wagons got 14 x 5.    Joe

yep 14x4.5.. with a 14x6 you may be able to clear a 225/70 R14 on a 6" wide rim

My 64 220 wagon had 14x5 on it when i bought the car from the second owner who was neighbor's with the org. owner.(41,000 org. miles)The car still had the org. unused spare...Here is the car now with 15x7 w/a 4.5 back space and a 26x8.00  slick (11 inch side wall)At one point i had the stock 14x5 and 195/75/14 with white walls thats a perfect tire for the car............. The top picture the wagon has 15x4 (From a 63 American)on the front and 14x6 with 235/60/14 on the rear.The second picture has 15x3.5 up front and 15x7 in the rear....
