In the 1970s and 1980s it wasn't unusual to see AMC sold alongside other makes (mostly imports it seems) by the same dealer.

My 1980 Eagle came from a dealership which sold AMC and Mazda. I had a 1981 Concord which was from an AMC/Datsun dealer. The paperwork that came with my first 1972 Matador showed that dealer sold two or three other unrelated makes in addition to AMC. I knew of a 1971 Matador which was originally sold from an AMC/Toyota joint venture.

My 1969 AMX was purchased new at "Nash" Motors, Geneva, Ohio.  The dealership was owned by the Nash family.  The building still exists.  Any additional information on this dealership would be appreciated.

My 1969 AMX (which was also my first car) also came from this dealership. When I last checked the building is still standing. I haven't been able to find much information on Nash Motors but I do have an issue of Americana magazine which was mailed from there.

Was in Moorhead, MN a few years ago and found this. I have no idea what it was called, it's on the corner of Center AVE and 8th St N. The sign appears to have been covered for some time. The building is next to Napa auto parts. I called Napa and everyone who works there was not born yet when this sign was put here.

Leonard & McLaughlin motors Winnipeg, Manitoba on the corner of Portage Ave and Maryland St. My 68 Javelin was bought there on Javelin day 1, September 26, 1967. One of the first car dealers in central Canada (1909), first car dealer in Winnipeg, by 1919 they were the prairie distributors for Cadillac, Nash, and Dodge. It was a downtown multi level dealer with an elevator to move cars up and down.

It now has both a fancy stone oven bakery and a jam/preserve store on the main floor and talk of turning the upper floors which were a karate place into condos. It's still called the Leonard & McLaughlin building. The first picture was taken in 2013 from our front door.

There was a "Ray's Rambler" in Olympia, Wa where my 1st car came from. I know about where it was, but it's like it was never there.

My 1980 Concord still had it's dealer tag on the decklid. From what I've learned, this was quite a large dealership (at least from an AMC standpoint) back in the 70s and 80s.
