I have the original glovebox warranty book and plastic card from the original owner. My interweb snooping found an address for them that I believe is a building they moved to after the one I pictured. I think they ceased being an AMC dealer in the 70's.

I located a copy of the AMC Annual Report for 1971.  It's a 28 page document that contains information on 1972 models, financial and general information.  Page-7, "Customer Service" discusses the new Buyer Protection Plan and includes photos of two dealerships, J. W. Moody Motor Company and Twin City American.

Grosse Pointe AMC, Detroit MI as it was in 1969 or 1970.  Building was on Mack Avenue, on the Detroit side of the border with On the border with GrossePointe..

This renovated Rambler building was a prototype for future rebranded AMC dealerships, featuring a modern logo & design.

Most recently Ray Laethem Buick / GMC, formerly Ray Laethem Pontiac.

This site closed in 2001.

As it was in ?2001?  ?2013?

And most recently:

My 1969 AMX (which was also my first car) also came from this dealership. When I last checked the building is still standing. I haven't been able to find much information on Nash Motors but I do have an issue of Americana magazine which was mailed from there.

Yes, the buildings are still there. Here are Google Maps images of what was once the dealership:

This was the showroom and administrative offices. The walls of the extension at left was mostly glass.

The service department and car lot were across the street.

Satellite view.

Thanks GrandmasRebel!! Area codes were enacted when the seven digit phone numbers were, so that area code should be good also. I've updated the list.
