G'day mate, welcome to the AMC forum.... the best forum in town

65 Classic hubcaps are hard to come by but may have one or two. 66 wheel covers are plentiful as i have a couple of dozen of them. The 65 i will have a look for you in the coming weeks once i can get to the property in lithgow.... have been too busy with work in Sydney to get up there. I will ask Allan Smith or Garry Murphy if they have any genuine wheel covers for in the next day or two.

Thanks for the welcome Steve.....I have the original hub caps, but they're quite beaten up - so i'm not using them at the moment....

If you do know of anyone who has a good set, i'd appreciate it!

Cheers,

OK I've got yet another request for a part that I might need. After reading a few topics on the 195.6 engine, I have decided that grinding the cam to have 0.470" lift (up 0.100" from stock) and 20° more duration (244° to 264°), courtesy of farna's information.

Any different opinions on this?

So does anyone have or know of a 195.6 cam floating around? I only want another one so i can grind it while still driving my 64' American, as it is my daily driver.

Give Allan Smith a call on 07 32781501. He is in Brisbane and is an expert on the early 195.6 motors. Im sure have the parts too.... Let him know that i gave you his details.

Does anyone know of, or have, a 232/199 engine that is for sale? IT would be nice if it was as close to Lismore NSW as possible.

Also does anyone have the special 'short water pump' for the said engine? You can probably see where I am going with this haha
