Not sure if this is in the right sub-forum but I am putting the AC back together in my 74 AMX and I am starting from scratch. In the parts manual it indicates that I need a small idler pulley and mount but there seems to be a couple of variations. Would someone be able to send me a photo as to the correct one that I should have for a 74 with a 401. I believe that it mounts to the lower left by the compressor. Thanks.

Any 74 304 to 401 v8 idler will be proper. I think 75 will be the same. My late 73 had the earlier version that is rebuildable, which is not proper for 74. I think dltowers has A/C in his 74, he may have a picture to share.
