Does anyone make an adapter to mate a 727 to a 232 6cyl with the flat flange crank? I've had no luck finding one so far. Thanks in advance

AMC did, in fact, manufacture an ADAPTER for the CRANKSHAFT

It was made for exactly what you are desiring =
Mopar Style TF-6 / TF-8 (727 / 604 / 998 / 999
to a FLAT-FLANGE AMC Crankshaft
it basically was machined into the FLAT FLANGE area to place the FLEX-PLATE locating FLANGE
where you need it for an AMC / MOPAR 727 etc FlexPlate

I'm pretty sure ANY competent machine shop could reproduce these DIMENSIONS

It was a PRESS FIT after machining your Flat-Flange CRANK

The flange adapter is a partial answer. How do you bolt to the 71 and earlier block?

the FLAT FLANGE Crankshaft ADAPTER will work on ALL ...  AMC Flat Flange CRANKS

ie: 290 / older 304's / 343 / older 360 / older 390 / & OLD six cylinder engines / 199 / 232 / 258 /

TRANSDAPT used to offer an  / ENGINE to Bellhousing adapter for older AMC  I-6 cylinder engines
to
NEWER TorqueFlyte   Auto Transmissions

the BellHousings on ALL  AMC  V-8's will fit the TorqueFlyte & 'GM' Turbo type Auto-Transmissions

The  AMC  I-6  bellhousings were  before  <1972  &  >after 1972

Well I bought a 75 jeep DJ-5 that has a 232 mated up to a borg warner m11. I want to slowly work towards converting it to 4 wheel drive and I already have a 727/dana 300 combo lying around. So an adapter of some kind would be the cheapest/easiest way of going about it.
