Yes they did. Woosterkevin has a set on his car. He worked for them back in the day. I think he has pictures of them in his build thread in the members section.

They are probably worth their weight in scrap, but still a cool and valuable piece to you if you have a need for them.

My buddy had then on his 76 Gremlin back in the 1990s.

IIRC I think they were for 71-73 Fords. I know he either needed new rear springs, or these weren't angled right. The length was fine. The car sat a good bit higher in the back on the bars, that wasn't right or good. He ended up snapping the rear eye off the spring.

Yes they made many for AMC's, They were an Ohio company & are actually back in business but are not making any AMC stuff. I tried to buy the blueprints & patent but their response has been slow.....

When adjusted properly they work exceptionally well. I run them on my Gremlin & my nephew on his Sprit.Matts cars 60' is in the 1.3's with a 10.5 tire.

Steve,
Could you post photos and dimensions of the bars so we have the option of fabricating them?

Thanks!

The only bars we have are on cars. It would be hard to get accurate dimensions right now. There are other brands still in production. Some for amc. We have also bought ones that were not for amc & made them fit & they work fine as well. They're usually cheap at swap meets.

Call them up! Maybe if enough of us bug them they will make a few sets.

If you dont find them cheap, it's worth looking at Caltracs.  At least their adjustable shocks. The make a world of difference.
