A special thanks to Rich, Ian, Terry and the team that setup a wonderful display last year. A year later and I am still pinching myself for the opportunity to unveil 69 SC JOURNEY there at MCACN.
I truly wish I had another car to take this year (but alas I don't have that deep of pockets or time to create another car!). I also regret being over 12 hours away and not making it this year. I have gotten to see that Matty Prototype up close and personal as it is being finished up right now, and can tell you it will be a special one for sure. If you are within 3 - 4 hours drive, the show will definitely be worth your effort. Go NASHNUTS AMERICAN!

For those of you on the fence about making it this weekend... make plans now to attend! This will be an incredible AMC display with a few surprises still in store for the weekend! 4 SS/AMXs, Shirley Shahan's Pro Stock Hornet (not seen publicly for over 30 years) 2 rebel machines, 4 AMXs, Matador Coupe Prototype,2 71-74 Javelins and mystery unveil on Saturday. Add to this memorabilia and great people and it will be worth the trip!
Shirley Shahan will be on hand Saturday and Sunday to sign autographs and take photos, and this is the only time she has ever appeared publicly with both of her surviving race cars. It is unlikely this will ever happen again as she is cutting back on her public appearances, and the owner of the cars recently passed away. |

As I read Ian's post, my twisted bean started putting some of what he wrote to the chorus of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" 4 SS/AMXs...... Shirley Shahan's Pro Stock Hornet.... 2 Rebel Machines....4 AMXs....Matador Coupe Prototype.... 2 71-74 Javelins.... and mystery unveil on Sat-ur-day. Maybe I need to put the spiked eggnog away Rich C.
