I'd certainly be interested in joining up, and Tom Jennings previously mentioned he plans on driving one of his Ramblers from Los Angeles.

We are looking at taking just one car (my wagon), and we drive it. We could all meet up in Flagstaff if it works for you guys. I have room for lots of cars here, but not lots of people -only one guest room. Whoever speaks up first gets it, if they need it - so it's yours Cam, if you need it.

Another option is there are two VRBO properties near us - one next door, the other, two house down on the other side. Both are large houses that can sleep 12 people. That might be more cost effective than a place in town. Of course, then there is the issue of getting cars up and down our utterly crap-tastic road.....

I plan on going, but I need to find out what the events are. Is Rambler Ranch on Friday ? and what is happening on Thursday ?
I'm trying to figure out what day to go, and how many nights I have to book while there, if there are any rooms left....

There's no formal group going as of yet, Sue, but as we discussed,
I do want to go...it all depends on the mechanical condition/reliability
of my car.  Others from socal may go, but they'll either fly or might
trailer their vehicles. I know that Mark Fletcher is planning on a trailer.

A gathering in Flagstaff of SoCal and AZ AMCs to caravan up to COS together would be a fun thing.

We will be leaving SoCal on Tuesday the 16th and plan to arrive in Colorado Springs by Noon Thursday the 18th.  Our expected travel plans are Phoenix the night of the 16th, Somewhere around Albuquerque on the night of the 17th and Co Springs on the 18th.

We will be trailering the Mark Donohue Javelin and would be willing to caravan so that if anyone driving has car problems we can pull the Donohue from the trailer and tow anyone off the freeway.

Our return trip will be leaving Co Springs Sunday and arrive back in SoCal by the 24th.

I am not sure if amxdrivers post has been read carefully. The tour of the Rambler Ranch is scheduled for Thursday the 18th. Along with a visit to the Rambler Ranch Terry has decided to sell a lot of the cars in his bone yard, maybe some parts. The best procedure for this has yet to be determined.  See you all Thursday.
