Better to be safe than sorry. The huge amount of work the host chapter puts in would be a big waste if it gets cancelled closer to the time. This way members can get refunds and make other plans. I'm also bummed as this and the Concours I was going to attend the next weekend are both cancelled....so much for 3 weeks on the road doing car stuff :(

If we all follow the rules and do what the specialists are telling us to do this will end faster! Stay home and get those cars looking even better for 2021!!!

This while a difficult decision, is the right call.

Dealing with it early gives people the time horizon to adjust their plans, and with no monetary penalties. It also provides an earlier piece of mind.

We'll get through this. We're used to adversity. Heck... we're AMC'ers ...  Can of corn !

I completely understand the decision.

Even if we are all safe to travel by June, Many people will have suffered financial hardships through this time and it would have a negative effect on the show. We have canceled the Home we booked and Booking.com gave us a full refund. I will allow my registration to carry over until next year (2021) when we will all meet up again.

Disappointed and over reaction is my opinion. The whole country has gone off the deep end.

I think this China thing will peak and be a distant memory by June.

No AMC Fun in June,

Bummer.  Lot of work went into this.  Probably the right decision, still bummer.

Huge disappointment, even my wife was going to this one - LOL - not for the cars but for Colorado Springs, but hey, the work that the clubs have to do weeks ahead, and the uncertainty. Painful, but how can one plan in the uncertainty.
Huge event and the wheels would have to be in motion weeks ahead.
Major bummer for sure but it was a logical move.

Was looking forward to it, but it IS the right move. Maybe this COVID-19 thing will blow over, but nobody knows for sure, and even if it does peak by June, it's certainly going to be around for awhile after that.

Personally, I have no desire to have another bout with pneumonia, or worse yet, to bring it home to my 97 year-old father.

See you there in 2021!
