360 shouldn't have had an M-12.

Sure it will fit. It will fit all the V-8's.
But if they didn't use it from the factory there isn't a plate for a 360/M-12.

Good info.  Allowed me to ID my flexplates - 71 401 BW and 73 727 401.  I didn't see the part numbers anywhere on the flexplates - are they stamped somewhere?

If anyone is looking for either of these flexplates, please PM me.  I swapped to a 4 sp.

Thanks,

Scott

Nope. only with 390-------------360's were with M11..........M12's were only with 390's and 401's.

The (4) non-stock larger converter mounting holes inboard of the smaller stock holes
were added for mounting an aftermarket B&M #60425 10" SuperHoleShot converter.
Picture is of the Transmission side so the balance weight is visible.
Above Borg-Warner Flexplate pictures appear to be of the Engine Side
with the balance weights visible, so it appears balance weights
were located on different sides of the flexplate between BW and TF ?

just an fyi, i've got a flexplate from a 81 258 that hase those "non-stock" holes in those positions

Just to clear that up, the holes are there, but not as big around, he drilled them out to the Hemi Dia bolt size. the one you have has 2 large holes opposite the weight spot as well, since it is a six car. SH
