Just thought I would pass this on for anyone that might want to know. I had a leaky trans pan - took it off to straighten pan & reinstall with new gasket. I had a close look at the filter and thought it looked like it should be changed. Tried my regular AMC sources but could not locate filter. Then I tripped on a "Flight-o-matic" Trans. There was a pic of a kit (including gasket) that was identical to my filter. The gasket appears to be a better quality than one I previously ordered from Rock Auto. Too much coincidence. Turns out it is basically the same trans as mine only a Studebaker. Called the site - spoke with a gentleman that was very helpful. He went to one of his sources and came back to say it should fit. I ordered it and fits like a glove. The site is studebakerparts.com in Gilbert Arizona. Email - Russ@studebakerparts.com.

Hope this helps someone.

yup, should be the same trans as the steady-breaker! mine have only had washable screens, not replaceable filters. interesting.
