Well here goes.
Got a 79 DJ for a decent price and I LOVE the way the CJ's/MB's look but their prices are WAY too high for me... One of my good friends had a Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser that we would always go cruise in SO I decided to try and have the best of both worlds because those are pricey as well... The way I cut the roof on my DJ, I should be able to put it back on and latch it down on weatherstripping that is on the body pans' cut edges. Has anyone done anything similar? Any tips? I am going to sew a military canvas top and run a CJ roll bar for when the roof isn't on when I head up the mountains to go flyfishing Thanks! |
