If I have it right, there are three versions of the Racing (T/A) paint scheme:

Ronnie Kaplan era: Vertical stripes with narrow White section (held over for 1970)

1971 Roger Penske era: Diagonal stripes with narrow White section

1972 Roger Penske era: Diagonal stripes with wide White section

So... which do you prefer?

Additionally, when Penske took over the operation, did they go with Blue fronts exclusively? I can only find B, W & R photos... The Kaplan cars ran one of each...

Maybe I should have done this as a poll...
No matter where you go, there you are... Buckaroo Banzai.'75 Hornet Hatchback

I don't like the factory vertical treatments. I like the'68 RKE car in '69 that went to one of the privateers that was RWB lengthwise. My favorite is the Fyre Fighter Javelin that was (Martin's? '69) in '70 configuration and livery with longitudinal RWB, though strictly speaking is RB with white only filling the number plates.

If allowed only the factory style vertical RWB choice then Donohue's '70 #6 with blue nose fits the bill as number one and the RWR '72 #2 car second.

What about the # 94 R/W/B Javelin driven by Bob Tullius and sponsored by Hurst?
That is my favorite, it is tough to find pictures of it, it must have been a short season.

This thread is useless without photos of all the cars.

Here is what the Hurst built Tullies Jav looked like after it ended up local and raced by Richard Pettycoat.... actually it was local in the last two photo's above (Springfield Mile)driven then by Jim Tobin.

Here is right before being scrapped unfortunately
