You will always run into trouble defining what is a legal street car, but here is mine:

69 Javelin, 343 (block is about the only 343 part left in it) BW auto, 3.54 gears, 13.1 @ 105, I am running Toyo Proxes TQ drag radials, but I run them all of the time on the street anyway.

I've been 11.37 @ 114 on hard compound street tires with full quiet exhaust.  4300 lbs and completely street legal.  About to knock at least a second off but will be on a DOT drag radial.

Your street car definition Pretty much leaves the door wide open.
So I have gone 8.95 about 10 years ago .On ET Streets On 8 inch wheels with full exhaust to the rear bumper. Not tubbed 3345 lbs.
With a Little bit of Nitrous(well a little compared to a promod)
And No the A/C does not work Censored

I think he is talking about a car that can be driven daily.  Unlike the "street cars" seen on street outlaws.  Those cars are only "street cars" because that is where they choose to race them.

well to be clearer we have race gas at the pump near the track so yes RADS pass could qualify, unless your talking street legal on pump gas only by your house and only blue cars

Ok, you got me. I haven't seen race fuel at the gas stations around here since the 80s. I didn't know it was still available like that
