The only scenes that are safe for every day peeps, is when it Involves turning off the engine and getting out of the car.

Let's see what is involved in recreating just one simple scene... you must contact the city you are attempting to do your stunt, and obtain permission, and pay for permits. Contact local law in town law enforcement, or state if on state roads. Contact emergency and department of transportation to setup site maintenance and emergency crews for fire and EMT response. Pay for stunt coordination engineers to setup and maintain devices that require explosives license and permits.... and more!

Now let's see what else can be done that does not need so much to recreate, that is still considered hazardous.

The sleeping in the shop scene... you better wear chainmail britches, else the security dogs will bite your bullocks off. No big money shops I know of, don't have big nasty dogs on site.

The bedroom scene... better wear a condom, aids still can kill.

The stop and order a tuna sandwich scene... who knows how long the mayo and tuna has been out. Could get a serious case of the trots.

Eating fries at the road side eatery... High fat content, could cause a coronary if you get way too excited about completing your first scene.

Wrenching on an engine... knuckle busting could cause an infection. Some peeps have lost a finger or an arm just with a small puncture.

Drinking oil is not a good thing to do... plus it's messy and could cause a bad fire.

Those are most of the real life recreations i think that are doable, without all the expenses and trouble. Just i wouldn't risk it.
