I have a 360 bored .040 over with an Edelbrock performer cam, carb, and intake. The heads are from a 79 cherokee, I believe they are the 60cc flow chamber rebuilt to stock. I am running dogleg manifolds with 2 3/4 inch pipe going to glasspacks. I'm just looking for a close guess on the horse power i might get.

Compression ratio?
Depending on the exhaust back pressure and compression ratio it could be up to 250 hp with a stock cam.

With 10:1 to one or greater and a mild performance cam
that motor is capable of over 300 hp easily.

I had a stock 1976 360 with a 270H cam, air gap intake, and edelbrock shortys. Junkyard fresh aside from that. Made 255 hp and 364 tq at the wheels (chassis dyno) through a th400. That's well over 300 at the crank.
No reason the motor in the OP shouldn't make high 200s or 300 if it's stock aside from the mods listed. |

The performer cam is pretty small.. 204/214 .448/.472 lift. The rest of the package isn't that big either, Between 225 and 240 HP at the tires depending on compression and tune is my guess.

They had stock 360's in 1970 pushing 295 gross horsepower.
Your combo is probably floating around there +/- 30 HP if it's tuned right. That's a big if. |

Not until he tells us what transmission it's going through. That could be a 30 HP difference at the wheels.

The time slips will be close. When I did the calculations, my 360 was putting out 180 hp. And I believe it.
