It really depends on what you want it for. There are good electric ones out there, but there is probably more jun k ones. The cheaper ones tend to exaggerate pressures etc.

I have a cheap one and it works great, does everything I want it to do.

We have a big electric one at work, which also works great, but the cost of a new hose is more than I have invested in my whole unit.

Aldi (yea, the supermarket chain) will have a gas powered one on sale next week for $199.00. If memory serves me, it is 2600 psi and yes, it is made in China. I will pick one up on Monday.

I bought one of their generators in the winter for $199.99. It is a 3200 watt, three 120 volt outlets. The next closest thing to it was a 1900 watt, dual 120 volt outlet that Central Tractor advertised but didn't have in stock. It too is a Chineses unit.

Just so you know, Aldi doesn't stock these things all of the time. They are specials they bring in every once in a while. While you're there, grab a can of their three bean salad. It is awesome!

The other thing people never consider is GPM, GPH. With a gas motor you used to be almost guaranteed a good GPH amount. Now cheapies are coming out with cam style pumps that dont flow much but put out 3000PSI. It all depends on the job.
We are just about to forge new AMC V8 crankshafts.. please check here

I have Troybuilt that is 2750 PSI  and will destroy wood, tire, you name it if you set it down to a needle spray...It's gas powered and has a single low pressure soap dispenser pckup hose.

I've had it for a good number of years now. I always keep the pump oiled with the proper storage spray and the gas tank full with stabilizer. It usually starts on the 1st or 2nd pull no matter how long it has sat.

If you use a pressure washer while wearing sandals and the wand slips, it is good at removing skin from the top of your foot.
Content intended for mature audiences. If you experience nausea or diarrhea, stop reading and seek medical attention.

Located usually near Rochester, NY and sometimes central FL.
