Ed, 290/304's are NOT included in the edelbrock head deal, only 343's and bigger get 'em

Dennis, are these otherwise stock eddie 54cc chamber heads that flow around 240 CFM or have they been improved over the off the shelf units?

I need a set of heads that will flow around 300 for the book engine that the heads never showed up for.

They are basically the same head as the standard off the shelf models except they retain the OEM 3/8" valve stems and no work in the ports.  No flow improvement.

AWESOME!!!   Might try a set of these on my 343 next year after the body work is done. I have my original cracked cast iron heads stored in my garage and currently have a set of X stamped heads rebuilt on it now. After seeing how heavy the fender troughs are when they are in mint condition and no rust, I might want to shave some weight off the front end once I have the replacement factory troughs welded on, with some aluminum engine parts again!   NHRA legal means a lot.

Had a set of ported heads on my AMC Hornet and cracked one.  I purchased a set of 60119 edelbrocks and picked up .10 tenth and 2 mph out of the box. I was pleased to say the least. My AMC Hornet went 11.79 @ 119.54 ! What a bolt on performance. Great quality product

QuickFuel 780 (3310) is now legal (Stock & SS) as is the R4B in Stock.  Check out the related thread on Classracer.com.  Man, did those "enhancements" get some feathers ruffled!Smile

I like the idea if you break an aluminum head you can repair it. Those cast iron girls are tough to repair.
