You can try one of the vendors listed in the forum, or check around - they are pretty standard, in fact, the later style is the same as GM used on some small pickups.
Don't be fooled by a few of the "NOS" ones being sold on eBay - they buy from the same places the vendors and such do and I suspect are simply new switches being sold as AMC specific but for 4 times the cost.
I bought one for my Eagle (screw-in type) from an AMC vendor and it matched exactly one I had bought earlier from eBay............ so I learned that lesson at a cost. Every mark on it was the same.

MoPar used them too.  I canibalized one from a Dodge Dynasty for my Concord.  Exact match.

I think the proper answer to this is: what are you working on? Some switches are easier to get than other.

And if you say Javelin, which side............... in 70, the driver door switch screwed in, the passanger pushed in and was the old style like the Ramblers used in the early/mid-60's.
Still vendors have them as AMC wasn't the only company to use either sort, and you see them at swap meets, etc.
I suspect I can even still order them from a couple of sources.
But by push-in, I assume you mean the switch assembly pushes in and not just the button?
