Getting close to having Pacer2 running!?!  However last night while attempting to get the distributor cap back on, one of the hold down clips broke off at the latch!  Are these replaceable or need distributor?

Figured out the starter solenoid was bad, along with the new solenoid, so now it's crankin and no spark yet.  After a couple ignition module changes still nothing.  I pulled the coil wire off distributor and found contact was way up inside, actually broken off.  So having a set of wires changed them out when the dizzy cap came loose with broke off clip.

Sooner or sooner yet, I WILL get her running and on the road.  Thanks!

Blessings
Richard

I don't know if it is replaceable, but I have been known to zip tie a cap on just to get an engine started.

You have a latch down distributor? How old is it, does it use points? All I remember are the screw down type and mine had an electronic pickup.

Is it the factory Prestolite DIS. See if a strap from a Mopar or a Ford will work.

Yes, latch down with electronic Petronix.  So the clips are available.
Thanks to all!
