I like the idea of destroking the 290 crank.  High rpm with deep gears sounds like a blast!

I'm wondering what a 360 crank in a 401 block would be like ? Anyone done it?   I'm wondering if it would be similar to the Chevy 350 crank in a 400 block? Great RPM combo!

i have a 401 block std bore and a 304/360 crank  what rod would you use ?

aftermarket along with the pistons. if you're not gonna run the crap out of it,why bother?

More or les a heavy 360, I agree, why bother?

get a K1 4" stroke crank and make a real motor out of it.

I have a forged crank de-stroked to 3.40 and I have a couple of Armaspheal Cranks that could be de-stroked if anyone is interested.
I wouldn't be buzzing the Armaspheal cranks if it were me though.
