I would still helicoil the hole in question. It will then be stronger than every other bolt hole in the block. Otherwise you'll always have that questionable bolt hole in the back of your mind.

Finally got the head bolt hole helicoiled and heads are installed.
On my way to getting this engine completed. time to install in the racer and go racing. |
