Planning a V8 4 speed conversion on the hornet, and trying to find the correct bellhousing. From my understanding, it's the deeper bellhousing that I'm after, and I believe this one would work. The seller said it was removed from a Jeep with a T-15, but I was wondering if anyone could confirm before pulling the trigger.

I'm sure that's the shallow one. All Jeeps used the shallow bellhousing. Based on the rectangular shape of the hole for the throwout arm, that is an 80-86 unit. The earlier ones had a more square hole. I don't think that one has the right bolt pattern for a T-5. What trans are you planning on using? Bob tufcj

You need an 8 inch deep bell. If unsure about that one, I'd ask the seller to measure the depth of it first. But the ad also states that it is a deeper bell then later models.
