BW M-12 to 727 swap, have all the linkage (lokar kit) except the rod that goes from the bottom of the shifter assembly to the PRDNL lever on the trans. Anyone have a spare one or another solution? '71 Javelin btw.

Thanks

I assume the original PRND21 rod is missing? I have my rod for my M45 that may require adjustment of some sort due to different transmission application. Haven't looked further into length changes needed for later automatics.

Just remembered I have a NOS Indy Matic with all the rods... I will go check my M45 rod and compare how they are made. Maybe I have one long enough to work. Though I would need an exact measurment from tranny lever in park to shifter end in locked park. To verify as a good replacement

Think you need the crosshaft. As the TF goes the other way than the BW

Cross shaft? When I removed both 73 and my 71 console shifters, they were identical in design, but the 71 had a mounted neutral safety switch.

I will look at the BW45 rod to see if it is not straight like the 73. The 73 had a relatively straight shaft. I ended up replacing with A Mega shifter.

I assume the BW rod is shorter by the fact the TC tranny requires a bend.

I have a rod that may work as It is 17.5" in total length from shifter pivot. It's threaded adjustment end stops about 14.75" inches to shorten. All you need to do is bend it, which can be done fairly easy heating and using vice grips.

I have a few rods for my own setup, so that one I won't need.

I actually have a longer one when straight, but it has angled inward bends for Ford tranny, i assume.

Can post a picture, if needed. Straight as an arrow, as it never was installed.
