thats an interesting idea. Hadn't thought of trying to go in through the top like that. Where did you get those spring isolators? I'm gonna need some for the classic.

This is for the '70-up suspension; the best way to compress one of those springs.
It's not possible for '69-back.

Nice. I was too lazy to make one. Was just easier to spend $85 and buy one.

Looks similar to mine... if you have 1/2" threaded rod, and a few nuts, and a bad front shock, all you need is a plate, or a front drum hub. Cut off the shock end and drill out the center, and cut a section off off the hub to fit over the top of any 70 on up AMC.

I joked about on my making one, as a DIY section to my build thread.

Looks like he is using a full set of red poly bushings. They come in a complete rebuild kit or as separate bushing kits for various suspension components.
